All persons involved in the wholesale, retail sale, transport and/or storage of Petroleum and Petroleum Products (Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene, Bitumen, LPG, Lubricants, etc) whose licences have expired or who do not currently hold licences from the GEA, please be informed that the GEA Legal & Licensing Division is in the process of accepting renewal applications and new applications.
Please be reminded that failure to take out or renew the relevant licence makes you liable to be charged under the GEA legislation for offences carrying penalties of the following:
- a fine of three million dollars;
- a term of imprisonment of three years; and forfeiture of the petroleum and petroleum products and containers containing same.
